Another shooting in the so-called “Numbered Streets” today almost claimed the life of an Arkham Detective. Police refused to comment on the identity of the shooting victim, but inside sources say that Detective Harry Breaux was shot once today at close range while investigating the recent rash of missing children in the area.
A witness says that Detective Breaux was walking through Englund Park when a young white male walked up to him, pulled out a revolver, and shot the detective once in the chest.
The detective was wearing a bulletproof vest, and was released from Kingdom Hospital with only minor injuries.
Authorities have not commented on whether the shooting was related to the ongoing case or not.
